PHOENIX is our home boy and our great family companion from our good friend Laura van Dalen of Van Dalen Labradors. He is one of our first Labradors that we trained with in obedience. We have trained many others, but they are not Labradors and most of them are not with us today. Phoenix is a registered therapy dog with Therapy Dogs Incorporated (TDI).

Phoenix and I frequently go on visits to local nursing homes where he spreads his good Labrador sense of humor with all of the residents and staff, mostly he just wants to eat their food and lick their faces. When Phoenix is not doing his therapy work he is usually laying around on our couch or right by my feet.
